About Us

Hi! We’re Jeffrey and Anna, high school friends that turned college sweethearts. We are so excited that you’ve found our little digital scrapbook! The inspiration behind this website was to provide a way for our grandparents to see our travels and learn of our adventures. We wanted them to be able to see our pictures and learn of our experiences without needing social media. We also wanted to be able to share our stories and share with multiple people collectively, instead of calling each family member and trying to remember every detail to repeat numerous times, all while waiting for 40 images to send over text. Furthermore, this website also allows us to document our memories without having a limit of pictures, videos, or words.

Ever since we started dating, we’ve talked about traveling the world and experiencing new things. On the day we “met” (see right) (reconnected after high school), I remember Jeffrey talking about photo journalism and travel magazines. We discussed going to take some nature photography together, and I made sure he didn’t forget it. Ever since that first date, we’ve been inseparable. Throughout our dating years, YouTubers Kara and Nate were huge inspirations to our travel dreams. Jeffrey introduced the idea of van life, and once the pandemic hit, and Kara and Nate bought a van and traveled the country, we wanted to do nothing more. We discussed the possibility for years.

After getting married, we started looking seriously into buying the classic white cargo van to convert. Unfortunately (or fortunately), we realized quickly that converting a van to our unrealistic expectations was not possible in the budget we wanted to spend. It was a few months later that Jeffrey brought up the idea of a Volkswagen Vanagon Westfalia, a van he’d been dreaming of since high school but never thought he’d be able to convince me to buy. After he explained that we would be getting everything we wanted in a vintage facade, I was sold, and we started scouring Craigslist and Facebook Marketplace for the perfect vanagon. After about 3 months, we found her. Charlotte. Ever since, we’ve been making upgrades to make her mechanically sound, more reliable, and more enjoyable. 2023 was our first summer season exploring Pennsylvania State Parks and taking her on vacation through New England. It was amazing, and we are looking forward to more trips like it.

It has been such an exciting journey getting married, fulfilling this dream of owning a van, and actually getting to travel and live those dreams out together.

We are so excited to be sharing our travels, ideas, and experiences with you via jeffreyandanna.com and hope to inspire others to simply enjoy the outdoors. We also hope to connect with others as well! So please like, share, and comment!

We are so excited to welcome you into this little digital scrapbook of ours.
