We’ve started a BLOG!!

I love taking photos. Like, thousands of photos when we go on trips. And when we come back, I STRUGGLE to decide which are “worthy” of being posted and shared on social media. Similarly, I feel that our experiences are so rich and filled with memories I don’t want to forget, that I don’t have enough space in a social media caption to truly post the things I want to remember for myself (because after all, this page is first and foremost, for ourselves as a digital scrapbook journal of sorts). AND I have many family members who want the ins and outs of our trips, making a 10-photo Instagram post with limited words increasingly overwhelming and underwhelming at the same time.

This has led to me putting off posting my thousands of photos, and thus, never actually sharing them with anyone. Over the past few months, it’s been on my heart to compose something a bit more comprehensive to remember our travels, while also giving family and friends the chance to get a true glimpse of our trips. It also supplies the details of the trip should anyone else want to do something similar. 

While our social media and this new website is “for us,” we also want it to be a place to connect with others and make new friends. What good is our experience if we don’t share it and also learn from others’ experiences too? So please comment, reach out, share your experiences.
